New photographer, who dis?

My name is Zee.

I was born in Western Sydney in New South Wales, where I went to school until I was 16.

I left for Cairns in Far North Queensland to live and study to become an Aeronautical Engineer. After completing my studies, I found myself working for Club Med in the Whitsundays where I enjoyed my last few wild months before securing a job with QANTAS in Sydney. I worked there for 5 years, commuting from the Central Coast where I lived with my husband Trent.

Two months after giving birth to our son Cave, we jumped in our Van and took our time travelling up the East Coast of Australia, landing us back in Cairns.

After living in Cairns for a year we soon realised our dreams of travelling were too strong. This led us to create Against the Tide Tattoo, a mobile tattoo studio that we licensed in the back of a fitted out 1970's Viscount Caravan. Starting in Cooktown, we made our journey south once more, with caravan in tow.

When we hit the New South Wales border, we also hit a new wave of licensing and legislation. We made the choice to pull up ranks back on the Central Coast and open a shop front in Long Jetty. Having a passion for photography from a young age, it's followed me through my travels and beyond. I love bold, edgy and weird, but can handle a more paired back and natural approach too. So if you’re a bit quirky and have something wild or wonderful that you would love to capture - I'm your gal!
